Nestled among the oaks on beautiful Johns Island sits our perfect little paradise at Sea Island Stables. Our facility offers a serene escape for riders and animal lovers, creating unforgettable experiences for all. As you drive in, you never know what farm animals you might encounter.
At Sea Island Stables, we provide horseback riding for adults of all ages and children aged 3 and up, along with various boarding and training options.
Sea Island Stables is owned and Operated by Sarah Anderson. Sarah is the 10th generation of her family to farm the land where the facility is located. Sarah most enjoys helping riders gain confidence and working through their anxiety. "The smile on a riders face when they overcome a fear and are so proud of themselves and are grinning ear to ear is the best feeling"
Barn Manager Melissa Cox has been working with the horses on the farm since before it was officially a business. 8 years later she now runs the day to day operations with the horses and teaches lessons.
